What does UDP mean — is it a network protocol?
No. In this context UDP = USB Disk in Package: a complete USB flash device on a small board, soldered onto your PCB. It has nothing to do with User Datagram Protocol.
Which controller will be used in my design?
We select from Alcor, ITE, Xinbang and Micov, in QFN, 24-pin, 48-pin or COB packages. Send your host requirements and we will propose the matched solution before you commit a layout.
Can you supply a drawing and specification?
Yes. Send your integration requirements — host interface, capacity, speed, mechanical clearance — and we will provide the specification and drawing for design review.
What happens if the NAND package we use gets discontinued?
It is a real risk across the industry — major suppliers have announced end-of-life for several NAND packages. Tell us your expected production life when you enquire and we will discuss how to plan for it.
What is the minimum order quantity for embedded parts?
MOQ depends on capacity, controller solution and whether customisation is involved. Send your specification and we will confirm MOQ with the quotation.
